In 2014 the democrats implemented a coup, and to what end, other then what followed. The democrats felt secure of a 2016 presidential win, but the Trump win put their agenda on hold . I always felt if Clinton had won we would have been in a confrontation with Russia during her administration, but now it had to wait. In the interim it was important to keep Russia hate alive through the lie of Russia-gate and demonizing Trump and his desire to get along with Russia which made him a bigger threat. Unfortunately I also blame the so called liberals who were blind to the democrat's agenda even knowing the neocons were supporting them and knew what their political philosophy entailed. Supremacy on a world wide level. Had the left stood up to this obvious agenda and not been in complicity with the democrats I think we would have had another Trump win and no war with Russia and no 600 thousand Ukrainian dead.
Very unfortuately, this is a defense and assertions that we were right all the time, rather than a willingness to acutally support this messy Detente effort. Very tongue in cheek to me,and shows too much rightousness. There's no way Def. dept. will let this happen, and everyone needs to watch and write and support the end to it, no matter on whose dime.
