I never forget when I heard Professor Michael Parenti at local University (20 + years ago) where his final message to his audience was that ‘follow the money’ might be very challenging and time consuming so he suggested that we should switch to examine and question allies and not make quick judgments on US adversaries.

My friend who was a University history professor that notified me of Professor Parenti speech and was adamant for me to attend to this event, asked me at the end of the event, “did you get it?” And I replied, “yes, of course,” but fifteen years later I finally got it and realized that I was too naive to fully comprehend what Professor Parenti was saying at the time.

The moral of the story is that Allies are paid to betray their own people and Adversaries might be the ones who are “trying” to help their own people.

Dr. Michael Patenti died January 24, 2026. May he rest in peace. 🙏🏼
