They also had Hamas's plans the year before, but simply dismissed them as too complicated to carry out. No concern there! On the day of the assault no one was about to stop Hamas either. Israel also implemented the Hannibal Directive that led to more Israeli dead. Their lies of rape and dead babies were also used to wipe them out, that is the Palestinians. When Netanyahu won in 2022, he and his radical genocidal cohorts in his government were talking about taking over the West Bank completely and one of the reasons Hamas gave for the attack on Oct 7.
