But an attendee told The Grayzone that oil industry heavyweights were less excited about Trump’s Venezuela policy, complaining in private about the President's push to reopen the country.
OMG. "Regime Change, Humanity, Global GDP, Oil Industry, Human Rights and Geopolitical Stability"-- how can these words be contained in the same sentence?
Goddammit! Now you ruined Landman for me. I was escaping from the craziness of the world and losing myself in these entertaining stories, but now that I understand the propaganda angle of the whole thing it’s ruined! I can never watch it again. I already canceled my Paramount+ and was just using a friend’s to watch this one show, now I’m going to have to stop that. Oh Christ, does the real world have to intrude on everything!!!
Looks like nothing much fundamentally has changed since Marine Corps General & Medal of Honor winner Smedley Butler spilled the beans back in the 1930’s about the US military’s role as high-class muscle for industrialists & Wall St. Except the cost to capture & hoard vital energy & mineral wealth & the mind-boggling waste of those very same resources in the effort to be top dog on the dog-pile.
I doubt any TV drama can top the shambolic hustle of P.T. Donald’s Greatest Show on Earth (also a Paramount movie from back in the day).
